Thank you for your review, Rob. The cypress leather does tend to scuff rather easily but I find it is just as easily removed by rubbing the leather with your finger or by continued use (friction from your pockets). Give it a nice brushing or rubbing with your finger if you get some unwanted scuffs.
Clip - I noticed sometimes the clip struggles to snap strongly if it's pushed too far into the spine. Try pulling it out just a tiny bit to see if that helps.
