“I've had this wallet for ~6 months, pretty disappointed with it. Got it after my bellroy folio mini broke at the zipper when jpy got stuck in it. I really liked the small zip wallet and this seemed like the best made one. This wallet is EXPENSIVE, but they don't really have competition. The leather is very fragile and patinas super fast. A fingernail can leave a permanent scratch. Also mine came with a bad piece of leather that has some super soft, discolored leather on it. I'd wish they would QC the leather they would use better.
Now the design, two major faults. Firstly the coins will fall out of the coin compartment and proceed to fall completely out of the wallet when you go to open it. If the wallet is stuffed with cash and you only have like quarters this doesnt happen as much, but I literally have to use a paperclip to hold the coin pouch closed and make it usable. There needs to be a button or magnetic tab to keep it closed like the bellroy.
Secondly the leather holding the card in is wayy to thin. All the card pockets have stretched out and do not hold the cards in very well anymore. The 2 outer cards pockets are also too high up and very difficult to use.
They need to redesign the wallet and actually use it, it is not very functional. They also need to put a higher end leather on it. Huge letdown.”

“I bought this as a birthday gift for my aging father who has very bad arthritis and it's tough for him to use his hands with most minimalist wallets. The small zip wallet is perfect because he can put everything he needs into it and he knows that it's secured with the zipper. He really loves it.”
“The leather and overall quality is great which I anticipated. It's thicker than the wallet I had been carrying but it securely carries and airtag and security key which is what is needed. A lighter leather interior would make it easier to distinguish darker credit cards but otherwise I am pleased with the purchase.”
“Recently had an issue where the zipper pull on my wallet broke. While most of the time I carry in a front pocket, I must’ve had it in my back pocket and sat down and caught the zipper pull just right. Or wrong. lol. I sent it back to Ashland to have another pull installed. I was gonna order another riri pull online somewhere for a simple fix but figured I’d send it back as per their request. Upon them receiving it, they elected to send me a whole new Small Zip Wallet ! I’ll miss my patina from the other one but this just means I get to do it all over again.
