“This heat diffuser with a removable panel enables the YS640S to sear food over an open flame. Another benefit is the opening allows for a hand hold during removal of the diffuser for cleaning, the original heat diffuser is somewhat unwieldy and hard to grip for removal. The new diffuser fits perfectly. This is the first accessory anyone with a YS640S will want.”

“I only marked it down for price because I believe it should be an option when you buy the YS640 to begin with. That being said, if you are going to do any grilling or searing on your Yoder this is a must! Very well made just like the YS640.”

“Just purchased this defuser plate, and tried it out on some burgers. Works excellent, but it is somewhat pricy. If you can get past the price, it really makes direct cooking much easier than lifting the very heavy, awkward original plate in and out.”

“Wonderful product to unlock the full potential of switching cooking styles. Hard to believe this product isn't listed as an option verses receiving the standard diffuser that will not be used. Free shipping was a plus as well.”
