Purchased my Yoder YS640s two months ago. And have had it a few weeks now. Have already cooked Prime Rib, Burnt Ends, Reverse Sear Ribeye steak, Baby Back ribs, and Chicken Wings. All cooked to perfection! This thing is a beast! The heat retention and distribution are what dream cooks are made from. Solid 100 percent satisfied with my purchase. If your on the fence about buying yours. Just do it! You will never regret one penny you spent on this baby.

Amazing pellet grill that has made the rest of my equipment obsolete. From brisket to ribs to today doing cheese burgers it keeps on delivering! I ordered the big option package and wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve smoked ribs in zero degree weather and it doesn’t skip a beat. This is my third pellet grill and it’ll be my last one.

This smoker/grill delivers on all levels. Quality construction, metal thickness, fit and finish and wirefire app together make this an absolute smoking machine that will last forever. I have done 6 hour ribs and 12 hour pork shoulders. And the searing with the grill grates has exceeded all expectations. Reverse searing a tri-tip, or just grill a New York over open wood fired flame! Char for days. I do not regret this purchase in any way and the YS640s just flat out is incredible. Must have accessories are the front grease shield, grill grates and the 2 piece heat deflector (this should be standard).

Thing is built like a tank and cooks super even across the different levels. Long smokes, quick sears, using it as an oven... it really does it all. Note that it's a wide boy, so depending on where you live and are going to set it up, you might want to make sure that it will clear doorways if you have to move it around. We didn't get it specifically for the FireBoard app, but man that thing is amazing at letting you know what's going on under the hood without having to go take a peek and manually measure (and open up and let that sweet, sweet smoke out!). Definitely not the cheapest pellet grill out there, but really tough to argue with the build quality and the results that come off of this sucker.

Very pleased with the smoker. Definite upgrade from my traeger. My only complaint is that I feel there should be an option of which diffuser plate you get with new grill without having to pay nearly $200 on top of price to get the diffuser plate with removable plate for direct grilling. We do a lot of direct grilling and I’m already tired of removing my diffuser plate every time but don’t want to spend additional money for the alternate plate. There should be an upfront option without having to spend that much additional money on an already fairly expensive smoker.

Late to the party of pellet smokers but I did a lot of research to determine which one to purchase. The Yoder YS640S has been absolutely amazing. Grilled a tri-tip with direct heat, smoked a prime rib and then finished over direct heat in 30 degree outdoor temps with no issue, smoke sausage in December and more. It’s been better than I anticipated. ATBBQ service is also amazing as they helped with a slight shipping issue with the carrier at the last mile. I highly recommend ATBBQ and the Yoder YS640S. Next up is the Yoder Flat Top and yes, I have a problem with grills but my wife is amazing and tolerates it

I bought my YS640s on September 18, 2020. It arrived ahead of schedule on October 6, 2020. I watched countless YouTube videos, read numerous reviews, looked at the pellet grills offered by competitors, and decided to purchase the Yoder. I have absolutely no regrets. My first cook was a brisket after the burn-in on the first night of ownership. Excellent. An “A” on the first cook. The FireBoard technology, app, along with its easy set-up and use, was a pleasant surprise. I have a Big Green Egg, a PK Grill and a Weber gas grill, and owned many other quality grills over the years. All great products. And I imagine I will still use them. Not criticizing them at all. But this pellet grill is exactly as advertised and as reviewed by the pros and amateurs, like me, alike. Buy this grill. It is worth the price. I ordered mine from Mike at AllThingsBBQ. Great guy, despite his allegiance to the Cowboys. (I’m a long suffering fan of two former St. Louis football teams, so I hope you can understand and sympathize.) I highly recommend the optional diffuser with the access door and the grill grates. I have such grates on the aforementioned grills. And the other accessories? I didn’t buy them, as Christmas is coming and now my family has something to buy for a guy who is hard to buy for. My grilling game Just took a big leap forward. If you cringe at the price, don’t. They are worth it. Everything that I discussed with Mike when I ordered it was accurate as far as the grill was concerned, and what to expect with the shipping process, and what he recommended as to accessories. The assembly process went smoothly. This thing weighs over 300 pounds, so you will need a ramp to get it up steps. My friend who owns a Traeger was jealous at first sight. The folks at Yoder did their homework, and produce a superior product made right here in the middle of our great country. At at time when we all disagree about our leadership, this is one thing we can all agree about if you buy a Yoder Kudos to Yoder, their quality, and the good folks at AllThingsBBQ, especially Mike. Thank you for confirming what my research led me to do: Buy A Yoder pellet grill.
