“Super versitle and amazing cooker. Holds a tempature super well thanks to the relatively thick steel. Tons of accessories can really let anyone cook just about anything that requires some heat and time. It's not cheap and not light, but it's a hell of a cooker.”

“I've had the ys640s for over a month now and have cooked just about every protein there is and I could not be happier. From being able to do the low and slow, overnight cooks to cranking up the heat and getting a beautiful sear, this is one versatile cooker. I highly recommend the grill grates. I actually prefer the smooth side of the grates as I'm able to get more Maillard reaction on my meat. I upgraded to this Yoder after owning various Pit Boss/Traeger pellet grills before. From build quality (of which the Yoder far surpasses) to the more smoke flavor imparted, as well as other abilities the Yoder can perform, I'm thrilled with this purchase. Remember, pay once, cry once.”

“I love my YS640s smoker. As I am writing this review, I have two hams that I wet cured and am now smoking. Ive got bacon curing and plan to do that on Monday. Besides smoking various meats throughout the year, I also use this for grilling the perfect steak and delicious burgers. This review is long overdue, Ive had my Yoder for 4 years. The only thing i want now is another one. Id love to make for a larger group. This is a solid unit, and I mean very very solid. My husband turned it on for me once and now I need a new seal, he got it too hot. This thing wasnt phased except for the seal. Honestly, the only problem I have with this unit is i cant use it enough.”
