“I had a trager timberline as I said had, put up with the smoke screen "around 5 minutes worth"on start up the 50` fluctuation in heat levels and watching them blow up on u tube I ordered a ys640 with all the bells and whistles set back in the waiting box 5 months and I can't say all the great things that can be said about this product it is a back yard bbq's dream come true.PS the show and tell ain't bad either”

“I bought this smoker in Feb. 2019. I have put over 2000 pounds of pellets through it. It works flawlessly. I did wear out a fan but Yoder replaced it without question. Great warranty follow up. Now I learned something new. If you point the smoke stack down, you can add more smoke to your meet. This is awesome for brisket. Love this smoker. They were right. I can't see how there could be a better smoker. This smoker is the best addition to my household ever. Buy it if you plan to use it. You will not be disappointed. My family loves it.”

“I recently purchased my YS640S and I almost shed a tear (almost).... the lid was heavy, it's made in America, and they have youtube video's detailing the production process - SOLD. I have not gotten it yet, but I've not been this excited for a purchase in a long time. Someone said it best - BUY NOW, CRY LATER if you're on the fence about the price but let the tears come from the smoke while you're standing over the grill. Excited to try it out!”

“Guys I know this smoker is expensive, I will not argue with you. Stop dragging your feet and pull the trigger the Yoder is awesome. I thought up to this point that my steaks were spot on till I cooked one on the Yoder, both my wife and I agreed best steak we have ever ate. I haven't even smoked with the Yoder yet, can't wait to do that. When all things BBQ called the Yoder a game changer they were spot on. Must say both the reps at Yoder smokers and the staff at All things BBQ are great. Thanks guys and now I can't wait till I get to use it again.”

“About 2 weeks after my purchase the control board on the smoker stopped working. From California I called Yoder at 4 in the afternoon our time and actually talked to a knowledgeable and courteous service tech. After trying to reset things via FireBoard she determined that the controller needed replacement. I had it two days later. Things break. That’s a given. Unfortunately good customer service is not. Yoder’s service is what we all hope to get when we call for help. They were outstanding! For that reason alone I recommend this grill (it is a great smoker).”

“I've been using the Traeger grills for the last 10 years and finally was ready to try something new. I'm glad I choose the Yoder, it's amazing how tight the temperature control is on this.”
