Late to the party of pellet smokers but I did a lot of research to determine which one to purchase. The Yoder YS640S has been absolutely amazing. Grilled a tri-tip with direct heat, smoked a prime rib and then finished over direct heat in 30 degree outdoor temps with no issue, smoke sausage in December and more. It’s been better than I anticipated. ATBBQ service is also amazing as they helped with a slight shipping issue with the carrier at the last mile. I highly recommend ATBBQ and the Yoder YS640S. Next up is the Yoder Flat Top and yes, I have a problem with grills but my wife is amazing and tolerates it

I bought my YS640s on September 18, 2020. It arrived ahead of schedule on October 6, 2020. I watched countless YouTube videos, read numerous reviews, looked at the pellet grills offered by competitors, and decided to purchase the Yoder. I have absolutely no regrets. My first cook was a brisket after the burn-in on the first night of ownership. Excellent. An “A” on the first cook. The FireBoard technology, app, along with its easy set-up and use, was a pleasant surprise. I have a Big Green Egg, a PK Grill and a Weber gas grill, and owned many other quality grills over the years. All great products. And I imagine I will still use them. Not criticizing them at all. But this pellet grill is exactly as advertised and as reviewed by the pros and amateurs, like me, alike. Buy this grill. It is worth the price. I ordered mine from Mike at AllThingsBBQ. Great guy, despite his allegiance to the Cowboys. (I’m a long suffering fan of two former St. Louis football teams, so I hope you can understand and sympathize.) I highly recommend the optional diffuser with the access door and the grill grates. I have such grates on the aforementioned grills. And the other accessories? I didn’t buy them, as Christmas is coming and now my family has something to buy for a guy who is hard to buy for. My grilling game Just took a big leap forward. If you cringe at the price, don’t. They are worth it. Everything that I discussed with Mike when I ordered it was accurate as far as the grill was concerned, and what to expect with the shipping process, and what he recommended as to accessories. The assembly process went smoothly. This thing weighs over 300 pounds, so you will need a ramp to get it up steps. My friend who owns a Traeger was jealous at first sight. The folks at Yoder did their homework, and produce a superior product made right here in the middle of our great country. At at time when we all disagree about our leadership, this is one thing we can all agree about if you buy a Yoder Kudos to Yoder, their quality, and the good folks at AllThingsBBQ, especially Mike. Thank you for confirming what my research led me to do: Buy A Yoder pellet grill.

I know this grill is pricier than what you can find at a big box store, but you are paying for quality. It is built like a tank and is the easiest grill I've ever cooked on. Other than the build quality what sold me on this grill was being able to sear on it. With the optional Grill Grates I've been able to put restaurant quality grill marks on steaks and chops. As long as you show this grill the TLC it deserves it should last forever.

I bought my Yoder 640 almost 4 years ago. I couldn't begin to say how much meat I have smoked/ cooked on it. I modified the drip plate to make it easier to clean but have never had an issue with my pit. I have never regretted this purchase

Upgraded from a small Traeger to this. So thankful for going with a Yoder than with something else. The versatility is off the chart! The last month I have owned this Yoder, you made jerky, smoked ribs, smoked/grilled steaks and chicken, and even baked a pizza. If you are thinking about getting a Yoder Pellet Grill, don't hesitate any longer. You will be thankful for choosing it!

Had an Independence Day Party by my neighbors pool. We have discussed doing a whole hog and I have done them before on my RECTEC smoker - my wife got me the Yoder 640S with the entire package .. I measured and called around to source a whole hog from a local farm. Was delivered a 65 pound whole hog on 2nd - kept it on ice in a cooler and injected it using Injector, OAKRIDGE Brine, and Rub from ATBBQ. Ran the Hog all night from 10Pm to 8am at 200 - running @ 155 Bumped to 250 and let it ride til 2pm 205 in the loin and 198 in rump. Needless to say the hog was perfectly cooked with incredible flavor! I completely loved my RECTEC but the YODER 640 is a MONSTER and all Products from ATBBQ are great!! I served it with 4 different sauces - all from ATBBQ and there wasn’t a single person that didn’t eat thirds! If you are into smoking meats and question a Pellet smoker - I will put my briskets or Pork against any stick burner any day!! All the adjustments I made through the day were done by phone thru the FireBoard app while I helped the neighbor prep the pool for 30 people!! Get a Yoder640S - you will never ever look at a Traeger, ZGrill or Big Green Egg again - oh and I owned a BG egg (XL) and sold that as well.
