“Without this shield, the smoker will have grease drips that will end up on your patio floor, and damage the painted surface on the front side. It fits perfectly, and cleans easily.”

“This prevents dripping from running down the fron of the smoker, that can ruin the paint, and cause rust. I've had that problem on other smokers. Even witn the grease shield installed, the lid still has a tight fit.”
