Hi Terry, our systems are designed to not remove the beneficial minerals. In fact, that's why most people seek out our product. Your water district reports mineral content in excess of 300 parts per million. Minerals don't 'boil off' and will leave a residue in coffee pots and tea kettles. This is normal behavior and not only is the white residue not harmful, but it is also proof that your water has the protective health benefits of calcium and magnesium.
