“I was previously using Nazeer henna in Chestnut Brown but felt it was a bit too red. This Bonvit henna in brown toned it down perfectly. I like to add in a teaspoon each of ground ginger and cinnamon to eliminate the henna smell and a squeeze of lemon to introduce the acidity to activate the henna. Left the henna mix on for an hour and only used conditioner to wash it out, followed by a sage tea rinse.”
