“I got these breeches in two different sizes and colors, black in a 4 and grey in a 6, based on the reviews. 4 would be my normal size and 6 was the size up that was recommended by the description and the reviews (measurements(ish): 28in waist, 37in hips). I find that the 6 fits, but I have gaps in the waist area when in the saddle and I found myself needing to pull them up a couple times throughout the day. Really not a big problem at all and everything else fit beautifully including the length which is difficult for me because I am short (5'1"). The pair that I ordered in the 4 were a much better fit in the waist and do not need adjusting during the day and do not have gaps when in the saddle. The thigh size difference is so minimal I don't even notice. Overall the material is quite nice and supportive. The material is also a nice thickness for shoulder seasons and I imagine it will be good for summer riding as well. The full seat grips provide a good feel in the saddle but aren't so grippy you feel stuck/they are squeaky. Oh, and I also love the zippered thigh pocket. Perfect for carrying my phone!”
