he staff at Adventure Moreton Island were honestly legends. Everyone we met was so helpful and easy-going, which made trying out different activities even more fun. We hired out paddle boards and a volleyball for the afternoon and spent hours just chilling and playing by the beach. They made everything feel super easy and nothing was ever too much trouble. You can tell the team genuinely love what they do. Loved the vibes — such a good spot to just enjoy being outside with your mates.

The tour promises activities like snorkeling and kayaking included, but when we arrived, we were charged extra for the equipment. The communication from the staff was not good, and the snorkel guide was very rude when we tried to ask questions. They are not patient with international tourists and make no effort to explain things to those who don’t speak English well. I don’t recommend it, especially if you’re an international visitor

Alright so I didn’t realise how freakin’ cool Moreton Island was?! Tangalooma’s got wild dolphins (I didn’t see them but still), shipwrecks, and that insane clear water. Didn’t do any tours, just grabbed the pass and explored with my girlfriend. The vibe is very “do your own thing,” which we loved. Bring reef shoes if you're planning to snorkel near the wrecks — it’s rocky af.

Went with a couple of mates and it ended up being such a solid day. We didn’t book any extra activities, just grabbed the day pass and winged it. The wrecks are sick — bring your own snorkel gear if you’ve got it! Also, pack snacks. There’s food on the island but it’s kinda limited and $$$. Ferry ride was smoother than expected too. Overall? Easy 9/10.

Literally one of the best random day trips I’ve done in a while. Moreton Island is GORGEOUS and super chill. Took the early ferry from Brisbane, found a spot on the beach, and just posted up all day. Swam, snorkeled, walked a bit, had a cheeky nap in the sun. No tight schedule, no stress. Just salty hair and vibes. 100% worth it if you just wanna escape the city and be a beach bum for a day.

A day on Moreton Island turned out to be just what I needed. Booking the pass was no hassle, and it’s a day I’ll be talking about for a while.
