Vivid Sydney Harbour Cruise - 1 Hour Reviews

4.9 Rating 27 Reviews
Booked it on a whim and wasn’t sure what to expect, but seeing the city all lit up from the water was pretty unreal. We cruised by the Opera House right as it started one of the light sequences—perfect timing. Way cooler perspective than from the streets. Would recommend especially if your legs are tired from walking all day.

Did this cruise last night and it honestly felt like the best way to see the lights. Way less walking and way more relaxing than being in the crowds. Just chilled on the deck, took a bunch of pics, and soaked it all in. The harbor looked unreal with all the reflections. Definitely glad we booked it.

We didn’t have to plan anything beyond just showing up and watching. Felt easy in the best way.

It’s one thing seeing the lights walking through the city, but being out on the harbour gives you the whole thing at once. Kinda blew me away.

I've walked around it before, but out on the water you get the full picture. The scale of it really hits you when you can see so many installations at once, across both sides of the harbour. Just a way more complete, beautiful perspective.

There’s something about gliding along the harbour while the city lights up all around you that just feels cinematic. It was kind of mesmerizing, to be honest. The skyline, the bridge, the Opera House—all lit up and moving past like scenes in a movie.

I usually find Vivid a bit much with all the people, but seeing it from the harbour made it feel totally different. The reflections on the water, the colors moving across the buildings—everything looked sharper, calmer. It was still exciting, just without the elbowing.

You’re not jostling with crowds or craning your neck to see the lights. Instead, you just float past all the action—like a front row seat to the entire city showing off. It’s peaceful but still feels super alive, especially when the skyline starts to glow. Pure magic.
