“I thought I was reasonably fit. Bondi immediately proved me wrong. Paddling is no joke and the ocean does not care about your confidence. That said, the instructors were great and kept things light when everyone was getting wiped out. Standing up for even two seconds felt like a personal achievement. Exhausting, salty, and weirdly addictive.”

“The lesson moved fast enough to stay interesting but not so fast that beginners got lost. My kid picked it up way quicker than I did, but the instructors were encouraging and didn’t make anyone feel awkward. Great intro to surfing and a fun way to enjoy Bondi without just sitting on the sand.”
