“The lesson was really good and well organised. We got a wetsuit (good condition, not too worn off) and a board. The weather wasn’t that good that day. So the guides took us to Lennox Head which was 20 minutes to drive. The weather there was really better and the waves not as hard as in Byron Bay. The lesson was a great experience and the guides gave us good hints how to improve. I can really recommend the tour.”

“Well-organised with different places possible and transport. However, the instructors were not that good in my opinion. We had two on about 9 people which made it hard to get any individual attention at all. Best advice I got was to jump to my feet instead of on my knees first, which was great and very helpful. Not more than that though and the rest of the time I was on my own. The other instructor spent almost all his time exclusively on helping this one girl. The weather was very poor and given the circumstances I had a fairly good time part in due because this is my fourth lesson, if it was my first I'm sure I'd been totally helpless. Would recommend checking out alternatives. Cheers!”
