I booked a full day of diving and diving for two people two months before coming to Cairns. A few days earlier I received an email informing me that the trip had been canceled due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.

A tripper day tripper is a very efficient and overworked value. The day was amazing from the first step on the beautiful boat to the moment .. I am so happy with the beautiful and friendly staff of the experienced staff. They were very knowledgeable and had a great love for this reef. Meals and snacks can be served and it was great after a great day snorkeling. Excellent wine and quality gear with immersion option. The best places on the rock and great help when you ask what fish is and more. Venture capital

Good day with friendly staff - but if I were to visit this reef again, I would go with another provider. Sailing means that it takes longer to reach the rock and back (more than two hours to each). The catamaran is also not very comfortable (no back rest or folding in the seats) and if you are sitting for 4+ hours that is wrong. We have seen tortoises and fish and clear water. I know the provider can't predict the weather - but I'd like to be told when we booked a day (2 days ago) that it was a very high tide and very strong / windy. If I had known I would have chosen another day. Although a skier with a skiing and swimming skills, my husband found some waves and returned to the boat early. The crew of the trip also returned to the boat at the original site before taking snorkelling because it was so dirty.

I would definitely suggest doing this tour to see the famous Great Barrier Reef. The staff are all extremely helpful, very informative, you have the options to dive or snorkel and wonderful food and drink provided throughout the day!
