1 Day Sailing Tour: Reef Daytripper Reviews

4.6 Rating 235 Reviews
After diving to other outdoor swimming sites, I can safely say that Upolu is different and amazing, if not more so. The soft corals were incredible and the variety and quality of life left me shocked. We saw tortoises, sharks, rays, giant clams, clownfish and very colorful nudibranchs (just to name a few!). The staff could see things that I might have missed in some way.

A small number of people, good staff and good food. I can't swim well, but I still see a lot of things today. All thanks to Vanessa, one of the staff members, who took another girl and me to the ring to check the crown. I felt completely safe. He explained and showed us many wonderful creatures. Highly recommended!

Why oh why did I book this trip? My feet were so cold and wet after a three-hour journey home the water flowed over them so that they parted and bled profusely. It was difficult - not the weather but the staff who had no idea how to take care of people. A bit over 1.5 hours in the river as I said it was actually 3 hours. There is a lot they can see there, they obviously found budget aside in a more refined area than in real rivers. I am very disappointed.

You will need 2.5 hours to reach the river, and upon arrival you will have 3 hours of diving or snorkell (another boat in the same area). We were told that this day was "better than the day before" the boat trade but we were not impressed with the reef. The appearance was not good and the trench did not look good. Aside from the website and the booking email that all snorkeling equipment has been installed, we were told 10min after we left Cairns that we could rent jellyfish suits for an additional 6 $. The trick is that during Jellyfish you MUST WEAR a suit so you have to rent a suit for an additional 6 $. The amount of money is not huge but the company knows you have to take it so they should not say all the equipment is installed. While we were trying to explain this to the staff, none of them tried to listen to what we had to say. Like the owner who separated us when we got off the boat and was so rude that we told him we had to pay extra for the boat, it was fun again ...

Beauty: - snorkelling discharge - gear provided - members of the women's team show professionalism at all times and have been helpful and friendly. - lunch was not good (expect a cold lunch) - Added glass of wine Cons: - 1 The American crew did not show any expertise, swam away from the boat's navigational voyage leaving everyone else behind, and threw water at the other crew as if it were a game. - I was bitten on the face by a blue bottle he didn't ask if I was fine or gave me an ice pack or cold water. So I had to plan for it. He was lucky I was used to being caught by them as I did not have severe pain but it was on my face.
