I am traveling alone and I choose Camira with drinks included thinking to find a party/social vibe. Unfortunately that was not the case. The 80% of the customers were Asian couples that hardly speak any English, the rest were couples or groups. We were 60/70 people and I was the only one to be there alone. The crew was amazing, very funny and kind. They kept us well fed too, with breakfast, morning tea, lunch with many vegetarian options, and afternoon tea. I was a little bit disappointed by the selection of drinks: it was only Great Northern 3.5, somersby cider apple and Rothbury Sauvignon Blanc. Also, we went to the beach in the morning and after that we were not allowed to drink alcohol before snorkeling. It makes sense but we didn't know. Moreover the snorkeling spot was very poor! We hardly saw any fish and it was a very very small area we were allowed to swim in (I'd say 72 people in 100 meters). I guess we've been unlucky. All in all I had a good day but I was hoping to get to meet new people and that was not the case at all. I would totally recommend Camira to couples or groups that don't need to socialize. The boat is beautiful too. Please consider it takes 2.5 hours to reach the islands, it's a long sail.

Good mix of chill and active. Snorkeling was okay (saw some fish but nothing wild), but the beach stop and the sail itself made up for it. The catamaran is huge and stable, so even if you’re not a boat person you’d probably be fine. Honestly just felt like a day hanging out on the water with cool people and no pressure to do much. Loved it.

Really relaxing day, no stress at all. I went solo and didn’t feel out of place—easy to chat with others and the crew were super friendly. You don’t get hours on Whitehaven, but it was enough time to explore and take it in. Sailing back with a drink in hand and that view? Hard to beat.c

I’ve done a few island tours around Aus and this one stood out for being super well organized without feeling too rigid. Whitehaven was gorgeous, of course, but even just cruising on the catamaran was a solid part of the experience. Food was decent, and they’re generous with drinks. Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a rashie if you burn easy—sun was intense.

We booked this on a whim while in Airlie and it ended up being a highlight. The boat was spacious and surprisingly comfortable (not crowded, which I was worried about). They kept us well-fed and the drinks started flowing after lunch, so the sail back was extra fun. If you're on the fence, just do it.

If you’re even thinking about doing this—do it. Our crew was a bunch of legends who made everyone feel welcome and safe, but still kept it fun. Views were next-level, and the way the sand squeaks at Whitehaven? Wild. Easily one of the best things I’ve done in Australia.

If you're in Airlie Beach, don't miss the Camira sailing adventure. It's a full day of fun, sun, and breathtaking views. The crew were top-notch, and the food was surprisingly good. Totally worth it
