“We were unable to make the cruise in the end as our van broke down a few days prior. I emailed Backpacker Deals support to advise and to ask if it was possible to get a refund/rebook but received no response, not even an email to acknowledge that we'd cancelled. Not impressed. We didn't get an email acknowledging that we hadn't been on the cruise either, which must have been obvious enough when we didn't turn up, just loads of demands for feedback for something we didn't do!”

“Me and my wife booked the 8.55 am trip on Wednesday 7th November 2018. The trip was amazing and we had a nice experience enjoying the stunning views and the hospitality of the crew members. But there was one crew member who showed racist behaviour. There was a girl and a boy welcoming the people when entering the ship. The girl was good and the boy was acting as a racist. He greeted everyone at the ship except the Sub continent people. He turned his head away when we were entering and his face was very rude. Same thing he did for other passengers like us. The same thing happened when we exiting the cruise after finished. Also during the journey when I asked about the toilet he has responded with a disgusting attitude. This behaviour of him has ruined our mind and made the whole journey unpleasant. I would suggest the management to take necessary actions regarding this issue if not other passengers also would face similar issues in future.”
