“Better half had been eager to do that trip for years - finally relented - unfortunately the she booked not so good each day for viewing - the trip inside the canals/harbour OK but once out in open seas - was very windy with choppy & rough swells/seas. We were on top deck and heading bent viewing sights meant everyone on top got soaked. At least I guess it wasn't raining as well . The crew did do their best to stay all happy and entertained , however were a couple of ill looking people on board”

“The boat was nice but the trip was disappointing. The only whales we got to see were very far away in the distance. We had already experienced an identical view of the whales from our apartment balcony at surfers. We booked the trip wanting to see the action of whales breaching close up. This was not the case. They promise you a free return trip if you don't see whales”

“Enjoyed seeing the whales, we had one swim right next to the boat which is apparently very lucky. However, I was slightly disappointed as the website promises a 3.5 hour cruise with over 2 hours of whale watching - our cruise was 3 hours, with only 1 hour 20 minutes spotting whales.”

“It was early June and cloudy skies. The waters rough, the boat swayed, and passengers on board vomiting all around me. We made it to the ocean but no whale in view . We returned disappointed. We were encouraged to require another trip freed from charge. Given my previous unpleasant experience and my limited time on Goldcoast, I declined. I expected some refund, as i used to be guaranteed a whale would be sighted”

“Amazing Experience. Nice Host, friendly staff members on the boat. Beautiful view of the gentle giants. I was able to see the group of whales which they call "Pods". Once in a lifetime experience. I would love to go again with The Spirit team”
