MUST DO! when you visit Tasmania. About 1.5 hours away from Hobart CBD - where you need to take a ferry for 30 mins and a nice drive to Adventure Bay on Bruny Island. Highly recommend to arrive early for the ferry as there could be a big queue. For the this cruise, I'd recommend to book the tickets advance. The staff were very helpful and keep us posted on the adverse weather and gave us an option to change the date. The tour guide and the boat's skipper was very knowledgeable - we saw albatrosses, dolphins, lion seals, NZ seals, and even a Antarctic white fur seal too. They also took us through multiple scenic points - overall a 3 hours journey, didn't realise how it went so fast. They welcome everyone - all age and fitness groups. They also give out motion sickness who needs. I'd recommend sit on the back of the boat to get best of everything.

Such a blast! We saw fur seals, long necked penguins, an albatross… they shared a lot of facts about the local geology and animals. we went on a cold, rainy day and loved it! We sat near the front for a very bumpy, up-and-down ride (sit in the back if you want a smoother ride). They gave us ginger chews to help seasickness and, thankfully, big red rain ponchos. Loved this tour, was a memorable highlight of our visit to Tasmania!

Absolutely fantastic, highly recommended. We got the "David Attenborough" of cruises!!! So very privileged to see a humpback whale, seals, dolphins, sea eagles, Wedgetail eagles, Shy Albatross, stunning coastline, amazing rock formations millions of years in the making, & enjoyed a very informative and entertaining crew. We had a 16° day, but the temperature plummets out in open waters. Be prepared! I took beanie, scarf, gloves, jumper & fleece jacket and wore everything gladly. Then you cap it all off with the very sexy red 'poncho'. Don't laugh... you'll be glad of that too! If you have a dodgy back, sit towards the back of the boat, definitely not in the first 4 rows! (Hindsight is an amazing thing). The meal in the restaurant after the cruise was delicious. Fish & chips, spicy pumpkin soup, hot chocolate. If money was no object, I'd do this regularly. Best. day. ever!!!

Bravo to the team taking care of all the people on board! They are friendly, funny, caring and passionate about both their job and the nature. The ride is definitely bumpy as we’re on open water far away from shore so they provide us with motion sickness pills before departure. We encountered dolphins and a LOT of seals alongside with some interesting rock formations.
