I had a great time on this tour with Lumineer Adventure Tours. The guides were very friendly and everything ran smoothly and to time. A highlight was the stargazing, was amazing to see the nightsky so clearly. Would definitely recommend.

Our tour guide knew lots about the area, particularly about the flora and fauna. He also told us lots about the night sky and we saw Saturn through the telescope. The food was excellent. Unfortunately the weather was not great which meant we couldn’t see the Milky Way but everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day despite this.

This tour was the highlight of our 9-day trip. To start off, Gavin, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and organised. He gave several short commentaries during our 2 1/2 hour bus ride which made the journey very interesting. From the short stopover at Hangover Bay to sand boarding down the dunes at Lancelin to the wonderful BBQ and all the lovely salads prepared, it was a tour that we look forward to doing again in future. Everything was done to make us all feel comfortable even though it got really cold after the sun set. There were lots of blankets and mats to lie down to gaze at the stars. I am most impressed with his knowledge of the different vegetation that grow in Western Australia and I appreciate him setting up a telescope for us to view the moon, stars and planets. What a treat it was!

The day started slow, having 2 hours at the Yanchep national park seemed to be too much, it was a little boring to see 2 koalas and 1 kangaroo. However, the Pinnacles desert was amazin, we had plenty of time there, the picknick dinner was great too. The trip was definitely worth it.
