Party of three, we were hurried in the water with very little explanation as to what we should expect. The water was so rough it was extremely difficult to swim at all and one of our girls was pushed underwater and in the wrong direction by one of the staff. She was adjusting her mask at that moment and the shove caused her to take a gulp of water and choke, then panicking. Only one out of the three of us even saw a glimpse of a whale shark. However we were all made to pay the $50 extra anyway. We essentially were made to pay for the pleasure to nearly drown with an audience. If I'd been made aware that just getting into the water meant you had to pay, regardless of whether or not you see ANYTHING I would've stayed on the boat. What a wasted day. The 'food' provided was.... Well, just pack your own lunch, whatever you bring, it'll be better. We overheard the staff speaking badly about the patrons and were made to feel very self conscious. We did see some humpback whales in the distance, as well as a duo of dolphins and a couple sea turtles but it was very average, nothing you couldn't see from the shore. Hopefully we will have a better experience one day. We will try again, however I wish we had tried a different company or time of year or SOMETHING as this day has tainted our whole holiday and made us all very hesitant to recommend this company, experience or even exmouth to anyone. One of us was told by the staff that 'the first dive shouldn't have gone ahead' which is so frustrating because, if that were the case, why were we told to get in the water? However, another one of us was told the first dive was how it normally went, which is just as upsetting because it was absolutely awful, so if that's normal, how bad is it when things DO go wrong? I dread to think. Our party were not the only people that were so upset they didn't get back in the water, there were three other couples we spoke to who had a similar time. I'm hoping to hear something from the company to help sweeten this sour, bitter taste left in our mouths but we're honestly just happy to be off that boat. 1/10 - go elsewhere

I have a disability and was not confident in the water. I was looked after superbly and got to swim with the whale shark. Never once was I made feel a nuisance. I cannot thank the crew enough. When booking the tour I had not realised how much my swimming was affected. Absolutely fantastic.
