“Finally some good weather showed up as did we for the start of this rafting trip down the Wairoa. Once we were kitted out, we boarded the minibus to head up to the launch point just below the McLaren Falls. Good, friendly briefing and practice of commands, then we headed down with the other rafts. Good to be able to do the drops and see others doing so too - gives a good perspective of what actually just happened! Only ejected x1 team member of the way down and he was fine and recovered without any fuss. 1 x cliff jump added to the opportunity to test your mettle... Great day out and well worth the effort to be involved. My wife, who had never rafted ever before, loved it and was fine - for a reference point. Recommended.”
