The highlight of the tour was definitely the delicious lunch, which was cooked to perfection and offered a great selection. The weather was a bit too sunny and I forgot to apply sunscreen before I hopped on, but otherwise it was a truly amazing experience.

The TSS is a pretty sweet way to see Queenstown, great scenic cruise and an awesome lunch at Walter Peak. I'm a vegetarian and there were plenty of options.

This was beyond expectation. From the time you go on board the steamer and then travel. The scenery is breathtaking and then listening to the pianist on board transforms into relaxation. The lunch is exactly what they have written it was tops. The gardens were like being in paradise just like in the flower shows. Last but not least the Dog and Sheep show was the best I have seen the young chap did really well. Love Love.

The Cruise over and back very scenic and relaxing, especially with live grand pianist. Bbq lunch was amazing and plentiful. Leave space for a taste of ALL the desserts! Sheep shearing and dog show excellent. Would've liked more time to explore the farm. A great day.

All round exceeded our expectations from the coffee and cakes on the steamer to the whole Walter Peak experience starting with the staff standing on the wall to wave in welcome as we pulled into the jetty. Have to admit to being sceptical about other reviews of the buffet bbq but they were asolutely right -the meat (the farm's own-was being cooked as we arrived and was fresh and tender, the variety of salad and vegetable dishes was fresh and delicious and didn't stint on relatively expensive ingredients such as asparagus, fennel & pomegranate. The desserts were to die for. After the lunc, the very charming & engaging personality of the shepherd who led us to the sheep shearing arena and the lovely relationship he had with his dog made it the most entertaining shearing experience I've ever seen. Not only that, the hollyhocks were stunning. Definitely a trip worth doing!
