“My family and I were so excited about the Cairns Rainforest Tubing adventure with the promise of a minimum of 2hoyrs on the water. However we're quickly disappointed when firstly last minute parties were added which meant we had to go to the depot and transfer onto a bigger bus which ultimately pushed back our start time. That was OK but as we were approaching the destination we were stopped on the road by a staff member who advised the driver to slow down as they did not have enough safety helmets for everyone (hmmm guess that's what happens when you add large numbers at the last minute). We were also advised not to take our cameras as they would take 100's of photos which we were free to access. So we arrive at the start point to find the bus that had arrived before us had all the helmets & majority of shoes which left us waiting around. We all had our safety briefing and those with helmets hit the water. A good 30+ minutes later the helmets turn up and its our turn to have fun (with the assumption that we would still get our min. 2hrs of fun). Not so, yep down 1 set of rapids a little float along then down the 2nd set to be directed to hop out of the water walk up the bank and go down the 2nd set again. Thinking this was allowing others to catch up bit no - hey presto it's out of the water trip over. All our group were disappointed. Then to top it off 100's of photos uploaded from every day prior & after our with only 20 photos (hmmm all of the first group) uploaded for our day. Would I recommend this trip - no; do I think my family got value for money - no; do I think they could of manage their stuff up better - yes. Sorry cannot add any photos as I have none”
