We took the train from Central Cairns station and It was a beautiful sight and the history given on this trip was very instructive. We have stopped to watch Barron Fall, it was a highlight and I would recommend it to anyone.

The Kuranda Scenic Railway was a memorable trip. I would recommend this to someone who doesn't like to travel too much or someone who wants a visitor. It's free and you can take your time.

Traveling with Gold Class, not cheap but luxurious and comes with snacks and drinks. I was impressed by the architectural history and the difficulties faced by the builders as described in the inscription.

Good experience in seeing that beautiful place, the workers were well organized, the basic facilities were covered with such clean water, clean carts.

We made the gold class train trip to Kuranda and enjoyed the boat food, drinks and hospitality offered by the crew. The train journey was excellent, giving you a close-up view of the nature of the rain forest and spectacular views of waterfalls, streams and vistas back to the sea to Cairns and the islands.

It was all a satisfying experience. We took the first train leaving at 8.50am which was not crowded at all. Seats are allocated and are ideal if you find a window seat. We were lucky that the train was not full so people were able to spread out.

We visited the Skyway Cable Car, an alluring place. It's a nice place with lots of photo opportunities. I highly recommend to book your trip from Viator.com, much professional.

From the moment you arrive at the station getting on the train getting off at the end is a good thing. More information on clean water station with train history, helpful information leaflets provided and comments on the trip. The Kuranda railway station was very impressive with many plants and looked very well maintained.
