“The place was beautiful, but the trip was too long. Maybe if we had raised our seats in the first class car we would have really enjoyed it. We have great photos, and we are glad we took this trip, but this is probably not something we will ever do again.”

“It was okay. There is nothing special about a train ride better we preferred the sky over the train. The carriage were unusual and the comment was interesting.”

“We knew that the skyline was not working but that it was all right. When we arrived in Kuranda many shops were closed as well as the markets. We really feel we had to stop our whole day to make this trip, if we knew part of the city was closed we would drive or at least wait and leave on Saturday.”

“At 445 our train stopped. At this point in the journey we are very close to the freshwater. 100 people are trapped on a train. It's been an hour and a half without help.. Spending money Skyrail is more reliable. It's dark now it's been two hours since the coaches stopped.”

“This made the trip very difficult for the eight people in our section. On the return trip to Car 9 there were three people in the bench. It's more comfortable but the inconsistency is obvious. The same price ticket but different levels of comfort.”

“This trip was great. We left Freshwater Station at 9.50am for Kuranda. The place was beautiful. There were a variety of trees and plants that looked very beautiful. The seats were comfortable but you had to open the windows as there was no air-con in the carts. The fresh air that comes in is beautiful though. All in all it is worth taking a trip.”
