“This was a lovely trip with Simon as a wonderful driver and informant. He definitely gets five stars out of five. Having many hours to explore Port Arthur was wonderful.
Simon told us that he would be ferrying walkers doing the Three Capes Track, to and fro, before picking us up at the conclusion of our time at Port Arthur. The busload of recently boarded walkers were permitted to leave the bus when he arrived for us, presumably to go to the bathrooms. They all took their time and also went to the cafeteria, resulting in us leaving Port Arthur half an hour late. If this is going to be permitted then there needs to be better organisation of the walkers so that travellers from Port Arthur do not have the disadvantage of leaving late.
This is the only reason I have given four stars instead of five for this tour.”
