This was my first time in Vietnam and I couldn’t have asked for a better intro. Our guide was so passionate about his country and shared personal stories that made the history come alive. Some long travel days, but totally worth it for what you get to see.

Just finished this trip and honestly, it was incredible. Ten days went by so fast. The mix of cities, countryside, and history was perfect. Our guide was super knowledgeable but also easygoing, which made the whole group feel relaxed. Ha Long Bay was definitely the highlight for me..waking up to that view was unreal.

Hands down, our most enjoyable portion of the trip was the time we spent in the area of Da Nang. We were completely in awe of both the 'Old City of Hoi An' and the boutique hotel in Da Nang and Golden Hands Bridge. The hotel accommodations that the company secured for us in HoiAn were beyond wonderful. Situated right by the Old City, the hotel had a picturesque location on the river...flower garden surrounded us....outdoor dining. The PEOPLE! SO friendly and inviting!

This tour is a perfect blend of culture, food, and adventure. There was something so beautiful about staying on Halong Bay and touring around Hoi An on the back of a moped which I will always remember. Our guide, was absolutely brilliant, enlightening with his unique local knowledge and tips and tricks to make us feel a little safer in an unknown destination which made us feel like we were at home.

Excellent trip showing the length of Vietnam, cooking classes showing differences of food in regions, boat stay on Halong Bay, overnight train, honesty in Delta and nice hotels give plenty of variety. There was a little too much focus on food, Expected to gain weight on this trip!! Very little physical activity, mostly just getting in and out of a bus or boat, even most of the optional activities are passive.

We covered the highlights in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and spent a deal of time traveling through the back roads and villages. We interacted with many local people, saw beautiful sites, and learned a lot about Vietnamese history and culture. We of course ate a lot of Vietnamese food which was all delicious! I gained a great deal of admiration and respect for the villagers and what they have to go through every day to survive, it just showed how spoiled we visitors have become.
