4 Day 3 Night Rock the Centre Uluru Camping Tour | Ex Uluru or Alice Springs Reviews

4.9 Rating 291 Reviews
5 stars Libbi was a fantastic guide. We saw everything we wanted to see but impressively Libbi adapted the itinerary to take advantage of the waterfalls that were coming off Uluru. A once in a lifetime experience that I’m grateful Libbi took us to see. Libbi has exceptional knowledge of Uluru and Kings Canyon which made doing the tour an informative and entertaining experience. The camping in swags experience was great fun too but bring a pillow for comfort and don’t forget to take a towel if you want a shower.

Fantastic trip with Libby! Incredible trip with a nice group of travellers from everywhere and our fantastic guide Libby. Libby not only aced all the logistics and shared her extensive knowledge on the history, culture, but also botany of the place (and was so patient and cheerful) - she also took us to chase waterfalls when it rained on Uluru and made last minute adjustments to adapt to the weather, which all turned out absolutely perfect. Can't recommend enough!

Camp and hike in Uluru without worrying thanks to our tour guide, Libbi Looking through the Ayers Rock resort options, it all felt a bit too sterile for such a marvelous wonder. I was looking for a trip where I can do the base camp walk, was more in tune with the natural beauty of Uluru, and be able not to worry about booking every part of the trip. This tour hit all three points. Such an amazing time. It was also more reasonable than staying at the resorts. Definitely for the crowd that wants to do more hiking. We had a group of 24 people of 20-60 year olds from solo travelers, to couples and families with adult children. Our tour guide, Libbi, was amazing tour guide extraordinaire. She woke us up with a smile to catch the early sunrise, drove us safely across the outback as we get to check out kings canyon 3 hours away, organized the group to prep and then cooked yummy meals for us, and then led us on hikes while stopping every so often to give us nuggets of facts. I would definitely recommend this for those looking for a camping alternative. More fun that way! You can choose between a tent or an outdoor sleeping bag with coverages called a swag. The tent are prebuilt and I found the beds comfy. Warm showers available in communal sections of the camp. Simple but allows you to enjoy the nature more.

Unforgettable Uluru experience with an Amazing tour guide My trip to Uluru was absolutely unforgettable, and a big part of that was due to our fantastic tour guide, Hunter. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Uluru, but also kind, approachable, and had a great sense of humor. Thanks to him, I learned so much about the significance of this incredible site, and the way he shared the stories made the experience even more meaningful. His professionalism was also top-notch, ensuring that we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire 3-night stay. From start to finish, everything was organized perfectly, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone in the group had an amazing time. I can’t recommend this tour enough for anyone looking to explore Uluru!

Rain on the rock! Fantastic opportunity to see the big 3 from Alice Springs! Seeing rain on the rock was just a bonus on top of a fun trip with like minded people and our lovely guide Hunter. Getting to sleep under the stars and see the centre in its different moods was very special. Hunter was very informative and did a wonderful job bringing the group together. For future guests make sure you pack something warm and bring snacks for the drives ☺️

Brilliant camping and hiking trip #TeamHunter Spent 3 nights camping under the stars “roughing it” in a swag which was surprisingly cosy and certainly an authentic experience - definitely do it! Hunter, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and shared stories and information about each of the places we visited. He had great energy, kept us all entertained and was just awesome. My trip highlights included snacks at sunset by Uluru and the Kings Canyon rim walk - stunning scenes. Excellent tour, highly recommend.

Loved it Loved this tour. Our guides Libbi and Sophie were the best. Their energy and love of the NT was contagious. The 4 days flew past. So many jaw dropping sights, so much knowledge shared, and freshly prepared meals every day. Swags were comfortable and a great experience. You should certainly book this tour. You will enjoy the adventure :)
