“Sam created the most incredible and memorable experience to see Cradle Mountain from our base in Hobart. As the only provider of a Cradle Mountain tour from Hobart we were super impressed with the comfort and enjoyment of the Derwent Experience. Sam was knowledgeable and informative about the culture, history, environment and local communities visited throughout the day. We felt honoured to be among the visitors allowed to visit this world heritage listed national park and we now see why it is so highly valued as a wilderness area. Sam's tour bus was very comfortable and we felt safe and confident with his driving skills. His bus features phone charging ports to ensure devices are charged for those all-important photos to capture the day. Parts of the journey are quite winding and could be challenging for people susceptible to motion sickness. If this is you, I suggest taking medication beforehand or equipping yourself with a sickness bag in case you're affected by the snaking and winding stretches of road. The hike experience at Dove Lake was utterly incredible and was topped off with sighting wombats, wallabies and native birdlife throughout the day. Thank you Sam for the most wonderful day. We highly recommend this tour for others visiting Hobart.”

“Likeable and passionate self employed tour guide. Except for food everything is included (you get some apples, yay). Comfortably timed stops with a café stop in the morning and a restaurant in the afternoon, both delicious. Enough time there to climb up to Marions Lookout and enjoying the view! On the way back we were very lucky to see a wombat just besides the path, so close that we could pet it indeed. Very cute! So in total, great trip, highly recommended”
