Pretty solid day trip. Ferry left on time, bikes were basic but did the job. Loved the freedom of cycling at our own pace—way better than being stuck on a group tour. The scenery’s unreal and the quokkas are absolute stars. Heads up: some parts of the island don’t have much shade, so plan for that.

Went with my partner and we had such a good time just biking around and taking breaks wherever we felt like. There’s no cars which makes it feel super relaxed. We found this quiet beach with barely anyone around and just hung out for hours. Definitely recommend bringing snacks so you’re not rushing back for food.

Nice little adventure if you want to get out of the city for a day. The ride from Fremantle was quick, and the island is stunning. Biking was fun but some stretches felt longer than expected—definitely some leg work. Totally worth it for the views and beach stops, though. Wouldn’t mind doing it again with friends.

Booked this solo and had zero regrets. Renting the bike made exploring super easy—everything’s pretty flat and well-marked. I took my time looping around the island, swam at a couple beaches, and managed to snag a few quokka selfies (they’re cuter in person). Ferry staff were super chill too.

honestly one of my fave days in WA. the ferry ride was smooth, and once we got to the island it was just… peaceful. we biked to little bays, stopped for snacks, and saw so many quokkas just chilling. felt like we had the place to ourselves at times. bring sunscreen and water, the sun is no joke.
