Best trip ever!! Cannot recommend enough - tour guide Paul was brilliant he was like the cool uncle of the group and his drone shots were incredible! We were taken to amazing spots around the island such as Lake Mackenzie and the Champagne pools as well as loads of extras with Paul. Paul also told us stories about the island, went dingo spitting with us, showed us the fluorescent light up jellyfish when it turned dark on the beach, as well as offered to get up at 4am and take us to the shipwreck at sunrise. I was initially nervous about going on the tour as I had read bad reviews about food and spiders etc but my experience was completely different. There was plenty of food and more for the group (enough for seconds most nights and always at breakfast and lunch) and was really tasty too. We had wraps for lunch everyday and then burgers for the first night meal, bacon sandwiches (plus toast and so many options of cereal) for breakfast and steak and sausages for the second night meal. We also had snacks given to us (muffins, cakes, biscuits and crisps) during the day so we never went hungry. There’s every variety of milk under the sun for teas and coffees so (as far as I’m aware) everyone was well catered for. The group (30 of us) were in charge of cooking and I didn’t find any problems with this at all as everything was really well organised and everyone chipped in and helped out where they could. As for spiders, I saw a couple of spiders but they were in the rainforest in their own home and despite the fact I have a proper fear of spiders I didn’t find I was scared at all. So if you have a fear, do not let this put you off going!! My car group was amazing. I wasn’t allowed to drive due to my age but this didn’t ruin the experience for me at all. Cruising along the beach is so surreal and the best fun even if it isn’t you behind the wheel. As far as I am aware, everyone in my car who could drive was given enough opportunities to get their turn and they all seemed really happy. Another one of the leaders had a guitar and on night one we partied hard singing and dancing along. It was one of the best nights I’ve had in Australia so far. Dingos is also one of the few camps where campfires are permitted so we were fortunate enough to have a campfire which we all sat around on night 2 which was really lovely (lots of people roasted marshmallows which were also provided by the camp). Overall I can’t recommend a visit to K’gari enough with Dingoes and don’t miss out on this awesome trip!

We are just back from the 3 day tour on K’Gari and it was the best experience that we could have asked for ! Paul our tour guide was so helpful from the start and constantly checked in with us from start to finish. He gave us a great insight into the history of the Island and always went above and beyond with the entertainment! Well worth the experience

I recently did the 3 day tour on K’Gari and it was amazing. It was definitely a once and a lifetime experience but it wasn’t easy. I’m definitely glad I faced my fears and fully committed to it. Our tour guide was Paul and he was amazing always keeping us entertained & informed with info and stories and just going above and beyond. We had a few difficulties with one of the cars at the start so we had to rearrange our itinerary but Paul made sure we didn’t miss out on anything and still had an amazing experience. He brought us down to the beach to see glowing jellyfish and the starts he even got up at 4am to take some of us to the beach for sunrise and got some amazing pictures and videos throughout the trip. The nice touch was the snacks he would leave for us in the cars everyday it was well needed and we never went hungry. Food was really good and it was something different everyday. I would recommend to bring an extra towel or blanket to use as a layer to lie on as you are basically sleeping on the floor with a thin mat and it’s really uncomfortable but what do you expect when your camping 10/10 experience
