Small Group, Super Yacht Whale Watching Experience Reviews

First time on a luxury whale trip and it lived up to the name. The boat was spotless, staff were attentive but not pushy, and the whales came surprisingly close. Honestly hard to fault anything.

I’ve done standard whale watching before, but this was on another level. Comfortable, quiet, and plenty of time to just enjoy the view. Whales were incredible of course, but I’d recommend this even just for the boat experience.

Went on this solo and ended up chatting with a bunch of other people—super friendly crowd. The guide pointed out cool stuff like whale behaviors and migration details, but it never got boring or lecture-y. Got some amazing pics and even better memories. Easy 10/10 for anyone visiting between June and October.

Really impressed with how respectful they were toward the whales. No chasing or loud engines—just hanging back and letting them do their thing. You could tell the crew cared about marine life. The luxury part is legit too—spacious seating and not packed in like sardines. Bring a jacket, it gets breezy out there!

Booked this with two mates while visiting the Gold Coast and it totally exceeded expectations. It had a laid-back feel but still felt premium. Saw a few pods cruising by, and one calf kept splashing around for like 10 minutes. Tea and snacks were a nice touch too, didn’t think I’d care but it added to the chill vibe.

Such a solid way to spend a morning. The boat wasn’t overcrowded which made it way easier to grab a good spot when the whales showed up—and they did show up. A few breaches, some tail slaps, and one that swam right under the boat. Smooth sailing the whole time and didn’t feel seasick at all, which was a win.

Just wow. I wasn’t even a huge whale person before this but seeing them up close like that?? Insane. The boat felt way nicer than I expected (like, actually comfy seats and space to move around), and the staff were super knowledgeable without overloading us with info. Could’ve stayed out there all day honestly.

I recently went on a whale watching tour and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we set sail, the crew was knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring we had the best possible chance to see these majestic creatures. We were lucky enough to witness several humpback whales breaching and tail-slapping, which was truly awe-inspiring. The boat was comfortable and well-maintained, and the guide's insights into whale behavior added depth to the experience. It was not only a fantastic wildlife encounter but also a deeply educational and enjoyable outing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with nature and see these magnificent animals up close!
