It’s not luxury and you feel the pace, but it’s well run and genuinely adventurous. If you only have two days and want the tag-along experience, this is a great option.

Two days was enough to wreck me and make me want more. Non-stop from the moment we hit the sand. Driving, swimming, cooking, sleeping wherever you fit. It’s hectic but fun, and the island is insane!

I hadn’t camped properly before this and I won’t lie — the first night was a shock. Cold, sandy, and I didn’t sleep much. But then you wake up on K’gari, swim in the lakes, drive along the beach, and suddenly it all makes sense. The guides were legends and made sure everyone felt safe driving, even if you were nervous. By the end of day two I was exhausted, sunburnt, and weirdly proud of myself. Not a luxury trip at all, but one of those experiences you talk about for ages after.

Tired, sandy everywhere… BUT would 100% do it again!

Such a fun couple of days. You’re busy but in the best way... swimming, driving, exploring, repeat. Camping setup was easy, food was better than I expected, and our guide kept the mood upbeat the whole time. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

K’gari is something else. I went solo and was a bit nervous about joining a group, but everyone was super friendly. The guide clearly loved what they do, and you could tell. Even with the early mornings, it was worth every second.

It’s a short trip but still fits in so much. Be ready for early mornings and a bit of sand everywhere, but that’s part of the fun.

Really fun group, really good guides. Camping wasn’t too rough either.
