“This was honestly just what I needed after a week of hectic travel. Floating through the Everglades was like meditation, but with birds and cool trees. It was short, easy, and affordable—and I got cashback booking through Backpacker Deals which basically paid for my lunch the next day. Very relaxed trip, very worth it.”

“Not a nature person at all but my friends convinced me to book this… and okay, I kinda get it now. It was so calm and the water looked unreal, especially in the early morning. It’s not action-packed, but that was the point. Just good to slow down. Plus we saw a massive goanna and I was lowkey terrified but also very into it.”

“Went with my partner and it was such a nice switch-up from the usual beach stuff. The everglades are quiet in the best way, and the reflections on the water are ridiculous—like some kind of magic mirror. We weren’t sure if we wanted to paddle or do the cruise part, but ended up doing both and it was 100% worth it. Super smooth booking through Backpacker Deals too.”

“Did this solo and it was honestly kinda peaceful?? Everyone was cool but it also wasn’t super social-heavy, which I liked for a change. Just paddling through these super still waterways surrounded by forest—felt like a full reset for my brain. Bring snacks though, you’ll want them. Also major bonus: I used Backpacker Deals and forgot about the cashback till it popped up later. Love that.”

“Wasn’t expecting to be this into a kayaking trip but it turned out to be one of the chillest days I’ve had in ages. The water is insanely calm and reflects everything like a mirror—it looks fake. Our guide, Jake, had heaps of random facts and made the trip feel more like a nature hang than a tour. Also got some cashback from Backpacker Deals which I used for beers after. Cheers to that”
