Booked the camel tour on a whim during our Uluru trip, and it turned out to be a highlight. Riding through the desert with Uluru in the background was surreal. The camels were gentle, and the guides shared fascinating stories. A must-do experience!

My partner and I booked this last minute and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Red Centre trip. The ride itself is slow and relaxing, and the scenery is unreal. Watching the sunrise light up Uluru from the back of a camel is just one of those core memories now.

I did this tour with a couple of friends and it was such a peaceful, cool way to start the day. The guides were super friendly and had heaps of stories about the camels and the area. It was cold in the morning so definitely bring a jumper, but the views made up for it.

The sunrise camel tour was a serene start to the day. Watching the landscape change colors as the sun rose was breathtaking. The guides were knowledgeable, and the camels well-behaved. A must-do when visiting Uluru.

I was skeptical about a camel ride, but it turned out to be a unique way to see the sunrise over the desert. The camels were surprisingly comfortable, and the guides made the experience informative and fun. A memorable adventure.

Woke up at 4:30 am thinking, ‘Why am I doing this?’ But as soon as I was on that camel, watching the sun rise over Uluru, it all made sense. The desert was quiet, the air was cool, and the colors were unreal. The light breakfast afterward—damper with quandong jam and hot coffee—was the perfect ending. Totally worth the early start.
