A well-paced, down-to-earth adventure for anyone wanting to see the Red Centre. I enjoyed the cultural side too—learning about Anangu heritage at the Cultural Centre and around Mutitjulu Waterhole added depth beyond just nature. Sleeping out bush-style isn’t for all, but I loved waking up to those view-lines each morning.

Went with a tight budget in mind and this hit the sweet spot: all the big names—Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon—plus three nights camping. The hostel in Alice Springs was comfy enough for a night. Guide definitely knew their stuff, and sharing campfire stories under the stars was a vibe. Just bring warm clothes—nights are colder than you’d think.

Awesome four-day outback trip. Highlights: Uluru sunrise, sunset over Kata Tjuta, and the epic Kings Canyon hike. Meals were basic but good, and the swag camping is such a memorable experience—even if it got a bit chilly at night. Would’ve loved an extra hot shower stop, but that’s a small gripe.

That was easily one of the best trips I’ve done solo. The crew was friendly and there was enough time to actually enjoy each spot—no rush. Hiking through Valley of the Winds and then chilling by the canyon’s Garden of Eden was a perfect balance. Sleeping in a swag was tough at first but ended up being cozy.

Waking up at sunrise to see Uluru’s colors shift was unreal. Camping under the stars in a swag made the whole thing feel like a real outback adventure. Guides were great and informative, and the Kings Canyon rim walk? Totally worth the early alarm.

Had the BEST trip around Kings Canyon and Uluru with Jessie! The scenery was INCREDIBLE, the group dynamic so fun and I got so much of our adventures together. Camping was the perfect way to stay connected to the unique ground covered in this trip - being able to see the Milky Way, spot constellations and chat around the campfire with my fellow travellers was a perfect end to each amazing day. Jessie absolutely made our trip so great - he was so knowledgeable about the Indigenous history and more recent history of each location. I’d recommend this trip to anyone - there is no place like Uluṟu.
