Swan Valley Full day | From Scarborough | Barmy Army Exclusive Reviews

4.8 Rating 15 Reviews
Took my sister on this while she was visiting WA and it was such a fun way to show her around without doing the same touristy stuff. Pick-up from Scarborough was super convenient. We both loved the wine stop and the cheese tasting, and it was nice to support smaller, local spots. The pace was chill—no one rushing you off the bus or anything. Would do it again with other visiting friends.

The lavender scones at the end?? Kind of stole the show. Rest of the day was great too—pizza lunch hit the spot and I liked that we got to try lots of different things without being stuck at any one place too long. It’s a really easy day trip from Perth if you don’t want to drive yourself.

Honestly didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. It’s not something I’d usually book, but my partner wanted to check out Swan Valley. Turns out, eating and drinking your way through pretty countryside is actually a great way to spend a day. The wine tastings were mellow and not snobby, and I really liked the honey place. Guide was friendly but not over the top. Just good, easygoing fun.

Did this with a couple friends while staying in Scarborough and it was such a good break from the beach stuff. Lunch was chill—big pizzas and a cold cider—then we just kind of cruised around to all these different tasting spots. Nothing felt rushed and the guide had a nice, low-key vibe. Left with a bag full of snacks I didn’t plan to buy lol. Worth it.

With friends, this turned a quiet beach morning into a full food-wine adventure. Highlights were the macadamias at Morish Nuts and the chocolate factory peek behind the scenes. You’re not rushed between spots. Lunch was generous, drinks flexible. Kept it mostly adults but stroller‑accessible if needed. Good pace and enough variety.

Five‑star treat day from me. Picked up at Scarborough, then off to Ironbark for pizza and a drink. The tastings are solid—cheese, honey, nougat, chocolate, wine—it’s a spread. Guide shared little history nuggets too. If you’re into artisanal food and not too fussed about big crowds, this nails it.

Just wrapped up the Swan Valley tour- lunch at Ironbark Brewery was wood‑fired pizza heaven paired with a crisp cider. Afternoon stops hitting chocolate, nuts, wine, cheese and lavender scones felt like pure indulgence. Guide was chilled and informative. Perfect low‑key foodie day out.
