“I needed two 1 foot wide banners for sports awnings. I bought a 2x8 foot banner and cut it in half. With $10 shipping, it came out to $30, The material is thick and has fibers, so although I haven't got to use it yet, it looks very sturdy. Because I was making two banners out of one, I added the grommets myself - Lowe's has a kit for $7 with 12 1/2 inch brass grommets. The only complaint I have is there was a white 5/8" border around my red banner, so when I cut it in half, I had a white edge on three sides. I had to make 2 extra cuts to get the white borders off the long sides of my banners. On the plus side, I might recycle the strips I cut off to tie the banners up. We'll see how it goes.”
