“The manakin are my first pair of bared shoes and I love them so much! They look beautiful and flattering on the foot, and feel very sturdy and well made - not flimsy like a lot of ballet flats can be. The pointed toe and cross over straps look delicate and refined. After reading other reviews, I saw that quite a few people had recommended sizing down. I’m normally a size 39 (8.5), with an average to slightly narrow foot, and I ordered the size 38 which fits perfectly. V. comfy.
