“I have recently bought the Kea, Black Nubuck as I have been so delighted with the same style that I bought last year in grey. This is a very functional yet elegant shoe. The heel height is perfect for style but of a height that is manageable if you are on your feet a lot. I have really enjoyed this shoe and regard it as one of my best shoe purchases in the last 12 months. I have had lots of compliments!”
“These were pretty comfortable the first few times I wore it, but the real test was when I wore it to a cocktail birthday party where I was on my feet all night. Look, I'll be honest, while its design helps: there's the chunky heel for stability, and the soft wrap around the front foot area (not a podiatrist, what's this area called?), it still hurts to stand around in heels all night. For me, in particular, it's where the curve at the top of the shoe digs into the skin on the top of my foot. This was also a problem I found with another bared shoe design which they don't make anymore.
In summary, pretty good and stylish, but still not the most comfortable pair of heels I have.”

“Having wide feet, bunions and a bad back I eased into my first Bared experience with a simple black Brolga before taking it up a notch into the Corella and next thing you know I’ve got the Kea in both leopard and chilli suede, vying for top place as my favourite shoes! With room to wiggle my toes, an ankle strap for support and Bared’s biomechanical footbed, I’ve been able to survive a 20 hour day on my feet in comfort and style!
Marked down a star because the suede, and especially the calf hair, are so fragile; even when only worn indoors and the majority of the time sitting at my desk, the leopard has developed bald spots which unfortunately means I’ve had to put them into early retirement and given the price point, I am reluctant to repurchase knowing the same fate awaits the next pair.
I would dearly love to see the Kea come out in a wider range of leather colours and patterns, something I can maintain with shoe polish would be ideal for the office.”
“These heels are the perfect height for girls who aren't comfortable/ a bit too clumsy for normal heels. Very comfortable and my pair came with an additional studded strap to dress them up! love!”
