“These shoes are beautiful and the footbed is comfortable, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone with very narrow feet. I usually go one size down in sandals, but for these shoes my foot was swimming in the smaller size and I had to go two sizes down. This meant that widthways they were a little tight, but there was still a big gap vertically (between the flat top of my foot and the roof of the shoe), so I was clawing my toes to keep the shoe on while I walked. To try and solve this I put a gel insert under the ball of my foot, which helped the clawing but meant the front of the shoe was quite tight and the metatarsal domes were a bit painful. This finally resolved after the leather stretched a little but it took a while to get there. I really wanted to love these shoes because of all the glowing reviews but unfortunately that hasn't been my experience.”
“These are some of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and they are so flattering. I get a lot of comments about them. I chose them because I wanted a nice pair of sandals to wear but also wanted a closed toe. They don't get too hot, they are nice and breezy due to the woven pattern.. and I don't feel tired being on my feet all day in them (I have a stand-up desk at work!). Really highly recommend, and I am sold on Bared footwear now. Worth the money.”
