“Just a really great work shoe. Stylish enough that you look professional but without being boring black flats. Strap helps with keeping them on. I ordered a 38 originally but it was much too big so went for 37. A 36.5 would have made this perfect but I don’t mind a little bit of extra room.”

“I bought these in the Tangerine suede. They looked beautiful on but they rubbed the sides of my feet. It wasn't tight enough that I'd need a wider fit and a friend who has the same pair had the same issue. I haven't worn them in but maybe a couple wears more and they'd be perfect.”

The leather is definitely going to soften up with wear. The best thing to soften the leather is body heat and pressure. So the more you wear your leather the softer they will become. Once this happens they will be much easier to get on and off your feet!
We make our shoes with firm, high quality leather so that they are more durable, however this can mean they take a little longer to wear in. If you need further help with them, please get in touch.

“Great fit and so comfortable. I have quite broad feet and these shoes didn’t need any breaking in - strap them on and go..... I walk quite a bit at work on concrete and they’re quiet and look so cool. My first Bared and definitely not my last.”

“I honestly can’t remember if I’ve already given these a 5 star review, but they definitely need more praise! I have now collected the brolgas in 4 colours - black, desert, dark tan and tangerine and they are on constant rotation in my work wardrobe. I need to insert the gel forefoot pads as my feet are on the narrower side, but otherwise a really great fit. The strap on these sits lower, below the ankle, which means they stay on my narrow feet / slim ankles more securely than other styles that have the above ankle strap.”
“I purchased these shoes not only for the heel height, but also design of the shoe where the strap is attached to the back of the shoe, it is not flimsy like other shoes with straps around ankles, which can be uncomfortable and not hold your foot in place. The back of the shoe where strap is attached goes around your ankle securely which holds your foot in place. The arch bed in the shoe is a great design for extra support for people who would usually wear orthodics as i do, but I am able to wear these shoes all day without them and still be comfortable. The only down side to the Nubuck is that they mark easily. I'm planning to get another pair though in black.”
