“Great boots for everyday wear. Fantastic for work as they are incredibly comfortable. I also like to walk to and from work and they hold up well for a 45 minute trip. They took two days to wear in however and there was some rubbing on the front of my ankles. It might be because I have some small ankles. But after that it was smooth sailing. Great shoes with some fantastic insoles. Three extra insoles of various sizes came complimentary with the shoes. Will buy from bared again, I highly recommend this boot.”
“My favourite thing about these shoes is the heel height. There’s enough to make the shoe look a little dressier and less like a tradie’s work boot, but it is also low enough that my feet don’t slide forwards and it feels like I am wearing flats. I also love the slim ankles and pointed toe, again for the dressier look. However, whilst not a dealbreaker, I am not a fan of the fabric tab at the front of the shoe.”
“These boots are so comfortable no pinching, no new boot rubbing! I feel like someone wore them in for me. I wore to work straight from the box and on a bad day I walk 7000 steps; this particular day i had to do 12000 with not a care.

“Purchased woodpecker in mustard suede and I'm absolutely in love. They are so comfy like wearing ugg boots around but with support! I am normally a 38 but went down a size to 37 from reviews and they fit perfectly and no need for any inserts. I have had plantar fasciitis previously so these are perfect to prevent it returning!”

“I purchased these in the black leather finish. I love that the forefoot sole is slightly thicker, making the heel feel lower and more comfortable without compromising the look of the boot. As usual the Bared sole and innersole construction makes them feel nice and comfortable underfoot.
The edge around the sole is great for longevity as it helps to prevent scuffs and scrapes on the toe. The contrasting colour is a great detail, too.
I have a long, narrow foot, and in other brands I need a 43/12. It’s extremely rare that I can wear a 42 in an enclosed shoe. I have found that Bared’s sizing is quite generous and in these boots I do wear a 42. I have a narrow foot, though, so if you have a similarly sized, wider foot, you might want to go for the 43.”
“I ordered the size 37 in black and the service from Bared to send me a size 36 to reassure me I had the right size was fantastic. Not only did it not cost me a cent to return them (something other online retailers do not do!) but the process was fast and simple. The boots themselves are my new favourites. I have super sensitive feet and I wore these all day the first day with absolute comfort. The quality of the leather is fantastic and the choice of insole ensures they are just right. I can't wait to get out of Stage 4 to show them off. I will be getting these in the tan as well and am going to embark on a process to convert my shoedrobe to a Baredrobe.”
