“Bought the Plover after seeing it modeled in a magazine worn with a pair of camel coloured tailored pants. These shoes are sturdy, classic in design and the tan goes with everything . I love the androgynous design as I don't wear fussy or frilly clothes. They will take time to soften up but like all of Bared shoes and boots your persistence pays off. “These are extremely versatile shoe and can be worn with just about anything. I did have to play with the innersoles at first as one of the shoes hurt the top of my foot. I also tried a few difference socks, loosened up the laces and worn them in a bit. They are perfect now and I can wear them all day. I get a lot of comments from all ages.”

“I own the pale blue version of these shoes and absolutely love them. It admittedly took a few wears to “break“ into them (kept rubbing against side of ankle initially) BUT the leather did soften and mould into my foot eventually. These shoes have been a real pick-me-up especially during COVID times. In Melbourne, we haven’t been able to move around much, but if I need to duck out for essentials, I team up my plovers with my jeans and I instantly feel better and can leave the house with motivation and a sense of purpose.
