“I purchased the Rhea in donkey studded leather - they are now my most worn pair of shoes as the colour is very neutral (more a nude-grey) and goes with all my outfits in the office and on the weekend. The higher position of the ankle strap gives the illusion of wearing heels, while also providing support. The footbed is also very comfortable and soft, moulding perfectly to the contours of my feet. As with all my Bared shoes, I sized down one size compared to shoes in other brands (I have narrow feet). They are a little stiff and hard to break in for the first few wears (particularly the point) as the leather is good quality, but I soften the problem areas by "rolling" or "kneading" the leather to break it down. Since buying my first pair of Bared, other than sports shoes, I have not bought or worn any other brand of shoes. I'm now up to seven pairs and counting!”
