“I really wanted to love these boots but being a size 42 and pointy toe they look enormous. Also, I found them difficult to put on due to lack of zipper and the straps needing to be undone and loosened. Here's to hoping with wear i like them more. The leather is also not nice and soft and comfortable like the grebe.”

The leather is definitely going to soften up with wear. The best thing to soften the leather is body heat and pressure. So the more you wear your leather the softer they will become. Once this happens they will be much easier to get on and off your feet!
We make our shoes with firm, high quality leather so that they are more durable, however this can mean they take a little longer to wear in. If you need further help with them, please get in touch.

“I am usually a true 38. These boots were very long and extremely wide. I have a narrow foot and they were way too big even with trying the footbed inserts. Couldn’t exchange for 37 as no stock & was told I would need to get a different shoe. Very disappointed as I love the look and style of them.”
