“I am at a loss. I have (too?) many pairs of Bared shoes (#20 and 21 are on their way ). I love them all. I love these sandals, but they are killing my heels! I have Finchbill Gold Leather Sandals in the same size, and the back looks the same. They are perfectly fine. I wore the Murrelet for the first time and thought it strange that they bothered my heels. Today, I put moleskin on my heels to prevent the problem and they still gave me a blister. So sad! They’re so cute!”

“Nice shoes and like all Bared shoes v comfortable but v hard to do up and you can’t slip them on with the buckle done up because of the stiff leather that covers the heel. Paid a shoesmith to have the strap lengthen so they now do up further to the front, but it is a major detractor. These are not cheap shoes. This should have been sorted”

“Beautiful shoe; however after 3 attempts to wear them and adding the Bared gel insert the heel still causes extreme heel pain, blisters. Such a shame, have heard great reviews about other shoes.”

“I have tried wearing these sandals a couple of times but each time I get blisters on my heels the leather on this part of the shoe is very stiff. I am very disappointed because of the cost & that I cannot wear them without risk of a blister. I would not recommend purchasing for this reason as this part of the shoe is not softening up.”

“I had hoped these would be a good alternative to my favourite Loon sandals. Sadly, the Murrulets are nowhere near as comfortable. The ankle strap is too short and the back of the shoe near where the strap goes through is hard and rubs; I cannot wear these without a bandaid. These will definitely not get the same amount of wear as my Loons.”
